How does the overtime calculation work?
MesHeuresSup calculates your overtime (heures supplémentaires) based on the French Labour Code. Each week, hours worked beyond your contractual weekly hours are counted as overtime. Surcharge rates depend on your collective agreement (convention collective) and the number of overtime hours:
- Standard (legal): +25% for the first 8 hours, +50% beyond.
- Part-time: +10% for complementary hours, then +25%.
- HCR (Hotels-Cafés-Restaurants) and other agreements: Specific rates defined by your agreement.
The net estimate deducts standard social security contributions. These are estimates — your actual payslip may differ.
What is the annual overtime quota (contingent)?
The contingent annuel is the maximum number of overtime hours an employer can request per year per employee. The legal default is 220 hours. The App tracks your progress throughout the year and alerts you when you approach or exceed this limit.
What is the tax exemption (exonération fiscale)?
In France, overtime pay benefits from a tax exemption up to 7,500 € per year (per taxpayer, across all employers). MesHeuresSup tracks your cumulative overtime pay and shows how much of your exemption you have used. This is an estimate — your actual tax situation depends on your personal circumstances.
Is my data backed up or synced to the cloud?
No. MesHeuresSup stores all your data (time entries, jobs, settings) exclusively on your device. There is no cloud sync and no account required. If you change devices or uninstall the App, your data is not recoverable. We recommend exporting your data regularly using the CSV export feature (Premium).
How do I manage my Premium subscription?
Your subscription is managed through your Google account. To view, modify, or cancel your subscription:
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Find MesHeuresSup and manage your subscription
Alternatively, visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
How do I restore my Premium subscription on a new device?
Your subscription is linked to your Google account. Sign in with the same Google account on your new device, install MesHeuresSup from Google Play, and your Premium access will be automatically restored. If it is not restored automatically, use the "Restore my purchases" button in the App's paywall screen.
How do I request a refund?
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. To request a refund, visit Google Play – Order History and select the relevant purchase. Refund requests should be submitted within 48 hours of the charge.
How do I enable or disable daily reminder notifications?
In the App, go to Settings → Notifications and toggle the daily reminder on or off. You can also choose the reminder time. On Android 13 and above, you may need to grant notification permission when prompted. You can always manage App notification permissions in your Android device settings.
The app crashes or freezes
Please ensure your device is running Android 6.0 (API 23) or later and that the App is up to date. Try closing and reopening the App. If the issue persists, please uninstall and reinstall MesHeuresSup (your subscription will be restored automatically when you sign in with your Google account). If the problem continues, contact us with your device details.

- Platform: Available on Google Play only (Android).
- Permissions: POST_NOTIFICATIONS (optional, for daily reminders on Android 13+).
- Internet: Required only for loading ads (free tier) and subscription verification. All other features work offline.
