This Privacy Policy describes how Chanel Services ("we", "our", "us") handles information in connection with the MesHeuresSup mobile application ("the App"). This policy applies to all users regardless of location.

1. Data You Enter in the App

MesHeuresSup is a local-first application. All data you enter — jobs, time entries, work schedules, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. We do not collect, store, access, or transmit this data to any server.

  • No personal information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifiers.
  • No usage analytics: We do not track how you use the App, session duration, or feature usage.
  • No cloud sync: Your work hours and job data never leave your device.
  • No user accounts: No sign-up or login is required.
  • No location data: The App does not access your location.

If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.

2. Permissions

The App may request the following device permission:

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): Optional. Used solely to send you daily reminders to log your work hours. You can enable or disable this permission at any time in your device settings. No notification content is sent to our servers.

No other device permissions (camera, microphone, contacts, storage, location, etc.) are requested or required.

3. Third-Party Services and SDKs

The App integrates the following third-party services:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

The free tier of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process the following data to serve relevant ads:

  • Android Advertising ID (AAID)
  • Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
  • IP address (approximate location)
  • App interaction data (ad views, clicks)

You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings under Google → Ads. Premium subscribers (Ad-free tier) are not served ads; AdMob data collection is minimized accordingly.

Google Play Billing

Premium subscription transactions are processed exclusively by Google Play. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing data. Google Play handles all payment processing in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Google Play Store (Distribution)

The App is distributed exclusively via Google Play. Google may collect its own data (e.g., crash reports, download statistics, device information) according to its privacy policy. We do not control or have access to this data.

Firebase Crashlytics

Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports to improve app stability. Data collected includes: error type, stack trace, app version, device model, and OS version. No personal data is included in these reports.

Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage events (screens viewed, features used) to help us improve the app. No personal identifiers are transmitted. You can disable analytics data collection in your Android device settings.

4. Subscriptions

MesHeuresSup offers an auto-renewing Premium subscription through Google Play. Subscription management (billing, cancellation, renewal) is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not process or store any payment data.

5. Data Retention

Since we do not collect any personal data on our servers, there is no data to retain or delete on our end. All app data (time entries, jobs, settings) is stored locally on your device and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App.

6. Children's Privacy

MesHeuresSup is designed for adults in employment and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has inadvertently provided information, please contact us so we can address the situation.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & International)

As a company based in the European Union (France), we are committed to full compliance with the GDPR. Since we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, most data subject rights (access, rectification, deletion, portability) apply to data stored locally on your device, which you control entirely.

Regarding AdMob data collection by Google:

  • You can opt out of personalized ads at any time in your Android device settings.
  • You can contact Google directly to exercise your rights over data collected by their services.
  • No personal data is sold to third parties by Chanel Services.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
